Who Can Apply

• Candidates must be holding the post of ALP/Sr. ALP in the regular cadre of Indian Railway.
• Candidates must possess the requisite A1 Medical classification and be medically fit to perform Running Staff duties.

Educational Qualification

Any one of the following:

• Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from a recognised institution of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Armature and Coil Winder / Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Filter / Heat Engine / Instrument Mechanic / Machinist / Mechanic Diesel / Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) / Millwright Maintenance Mechanic / Mechanic Radio & TV / Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Mechanic / Tractor Mechanic / Turner / Wireman; OR
• Matriculation/SSLC plus course-completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above; OR
• HSC/12th Std. (10+2) Science pass in regular schooling; OR
• 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering, or a combination of these engineering disciplines, from a recognised institution, in lieu of ITI; OR
• A Degree in the engineering disciplines mentioned above, in lieu of a Diploma in Engineering.

Not more than 45 years, as on the date of notification (22.09.2026).

• Eligible, suitable applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of eligibility and experience, if required, as per the Vacancy Notice.
• The Administrative Office (Zonal Railway/Production Unit/Railway Board, etc.) forwarding the application is required to mention the candidate's APAR gradings for the last five years, along with No Objection, Vigilance, and DAR Clearance.

1. Fill in the complete application in the Prescribed Application Format (Annexure 'A') provided with the Vacancy Notice - do not leave any field blank.
2. Paste a recent passport-size photograph, with your signature across it, in the space provided on the form.
3. Fill in all requested Personal Data - Name, Gender, Service, Department, Category, Date of Birth, Age as on 22.09.2026, DoITS in PML-2/4, Present Pay Band/Grade Pay/Basic Pay, Present Designation & Railway/PSU, Contact Details, Educational Qualification, Experience Details, Details of previous deputation/foreign assignment (if any), and whether debarred from deputation or a cooling-off period is completed.
4. Sign the certification statement confirming that the details furnished are true and that you are eligible for the post as per the criteria laid down in the Vacancy Notice.
5. Submit the complete application to your Administrative Officer (HQ/Board, etc.) for forwarding through proper channel to the Chief Personnel Officer, Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd., indicating No Objection, Vigilance, and DAR Clearance.
