The 614 vacancies were distributed across the following regions:

Under the J&K region, major district-wise allocations included Srinagar (75), Jammu (75), Baramulla (35), Anantnag (30), and Budgam (30), among other districts. The Rest of India (ROI) vacancies were allocated to clusters including Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Bangalore, and Mohali.

Selection for JK Bank Apprentice 2026 is based on an online written examination followed by document verification. There is no interview stage.

• Negative marking of 0.25 marks applies for each wrong answer.
• No penalty for unattempted questions.
• The merit list is prepared district-wise and category-wise.
• A waitlist of 50% of the notified vacancies is maintained for one year from the result date or until the next recruitment exercise, whichever is earlier.

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend structured as follows:

• ₹13,500 per month total (₹9,000 from the Bank + ₹4,500 from the Government via DBT)
• An additional conveyance allowance of ₹1,250
• No other allowances are provided

• Selection under this recruitment does not guarantee employment in J&K Bank after the apprenticeship period ends.
